Last year, ten percentage points more people were saving, compared to a year before
Last year, nearly 60 percent of Hungarians saved monthly, which is about ten percentage points higher than in the previous year, and corresponds to the European average – the Intrum debt management company informed MTI on Tuesday about the data of its latest survey.
They emphasized: In Hungary, the problem of settling an unexpected expenditure corresponding to the average half-yearly net income is less and less problematic. More than half of the respondents can cover an unforeseen expense without taking a loan, suggesting that this figure is 10 percentage points higher than the average of a year before. (MTI)
