Last year, the stores in Pozsony gave half of the retail sales in Slovakia
Last year, the stores in Pozsony gave 47 percent of the retail sales in Slovakia – the analysis of the Poštová Banka shows, which was sent to MTI on Wednesday.
In Slovakia, retail sales stagnated in 2013. Compared to the previous year retail sales in Slovakia increased by only 0.1 percent and was 18.3 billion euros. It is a daily average of 27 euros per household (approximately 8,200 HUF).
Among the regions the turnover only increased in the Pozsony region by annual 1 percent, in the other regions the turnover stagnated, declined or showed only slight increase. (MTI)
