Romanian retail sales increased by 7.2 percent last year
Romanian retail sales grew 7.2 percent last year – the Romanian National Institute of Statistics announced oon Wednesday.
The increase was mainly due to non-food sales, of which sales increased by 8.8 percent. Fuel sales increased by 6.5 percent and food, beverages and tobacco sales by 6 percent. The Romanian gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 4 percent in the first three quarters of last year. (MTI)
