The beer market increased by 6.5 percent in Romania last year
Last year, 15.8 million hectoliters of beer was consumed in Romania, which is a 6.5 percent increase compared to the previous year – the Romanian Brewers Association announced on Tuesday.
Ciprian Sandu, head of the communication of the association told the Agerpres news agency that the Romanians last year consumed 80 liters of beer per capita, which is an increase compared to the 74 liters per year average of 2014. In 2014 the population in Romania consumed a total of 14.9 million hectoliters of beer. (MTI)
