Last year, 4.6 million passengers visited the Liszt Ferenc International Airport
Last year, 4.6 million passengers and 183,000 tons of air cargo visited the Liszt Ferenc International Airport, Budapest Airport told MTI on Tuesday.

It was highlighted in the announcement that in 2021, Budapest Airport closed the second year that was significantly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. In a pandemic environment, passenger traffic remained at only one-third of the pre-pandemic levels on an annual basis, but has already exceeded half of pre-pandemic levels over the past few months.
