Milk consumption decreased by 2.6 percent last year
Last year, milk consumption decreased by 2.6 percent in Hungary, compared to 2009 – said Posztós Zsuzsanna, Marketing manager of Tetra Pak Hungária Zrt. at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
The specialist pointed out at the press conference presenting the results of GfK Hungária Market Research Institute's survey, that in 2010, an average Hungarian person consumed 67.5 liters of milk. This corresponds to 1.8 deciliter per day, which is slightly higher than the average of the union, but less than the daily half-liter volume, proposed by the experts – reports Magyar Nemzet Online, after MTI.
