1.2 percent economic growth beside decreasing consumption in 2010
According to the detailed datas of the Central Statistical Office; In the last quarter of last year, Hungary's GDP grew by 1.9 percent. Thus, in 2010, gross domestic product rose by 1.2 percent.
The Preliminary datas of the Central Statistical Office were calculated with a 2 percent growth. Adjusted by the calendar effect, growth was 1.7 percent, compared to the previously expected 1.8 percent. On a quarterly basis, GDP rose by 0.2 percent. In 2010, the value of the gross domestic product at current prices was 27,120 billion HUF. On a per capita basis, it was 2 million 712 thousand HUF.
