The experts of Takarékbank expect permanently high food prices
Experts from Takarékbank expect persistently high food prices – was said at an online background discussion of the financial institution’s agricultural business on Tuesday. It was said that in addition to food raw materials, construction prices have also risen, which could raise the cost of agricultural investments.
At the same time, the managing director of the agricultural business, Hollósi Dávid, emphasized that easing the restrictions could benefit farmers who expect demand to recover from the easing. Agricultural output could grow by 5-7 percent year-over-year in the second half of the year, he added. (MTI)
