Permanent installation wins Display of the Year 2023
POPAI Hungary Association’s year-closing event organized with the Trade Marketing Klub was held in the Simándi József Hall of MOM Kult on 23 November.
The host was the Bonafarm trade marketing team, and the topic was Very Fast Moving Brands, giving an overview of the current changes related to
the PICK and MIZO brands. Keynote speakers were Krisztián Király sales development manager and Gábor Józsa trade marketing manager.
Attila Fazekas, the managing director of BoxPrint, sponsor of the event, detailed the packaging trends in his presentation. In addition to the projected photos and videos, participants could also get their hands on some samples of the super-premium-quality, gold-plated gift boxes.
Máté Szilvia, managing director of BD-Expo Kft., the local representative of Messe Düsseldorf, sponsor of the event, recommended the EuroCIS exhibition (Feb. 27-29, 2024), highlighting the most current topics. In addition to the challenges of retail industry that are relevant both globally and localy, digital in-store marketing solutions, artificial intelligence, and contactless shopping will also be in focus at this trade fair. The solutions of the future can be seen in the already realized phase on the guided store visit tours.
Before the podium winners were announced, the audience congratulated Máté Szilvia on behalf of the FMCG industry, who recently received the Hungarian Golden Cross of Merit award for the development of Hungary’s foreign relations and for her outstanding professional activity in strengthening the positive perception of our country abroad.
After a Q&A session with the participants, the award ceremony of the 14th POPAI Awards POP competition followed. Ildikó Kátai, general secretary of POPAI announced the winners. The entries had been exhibited in Tapolca, during the 5 days of Trade magazin’s Business Days conference, between 25-29 September. This year more than 120 people judged and almost three times as many viewed the entries.
Display of the Year was awarded to a permanent installation by Coca-Cola HBC, called “Coke Creations 2-pallet display”.
