François champagnes were present at one of the most prestigious wine competitions in the world
The François sparkling wine brand achieved brilliant success at one of the world’s most important professional competitions. At the Mundus Vini Spring Tasting wine competition in Germany, two excellent François sparkling wines – François President Brut and Louis François & Co. Brut Nature Raw Sparkling Wine – were awarded laurels based on the opinions of two hundred and fifty wine experts from fifty-five countries, thus strengthening the brand’s international recognition.
The Mundus Vini Spring Tasting wine competition in Germany, which has a history of nearly a quarter of a century, annually tests the world’s leading wines and sparkling wines. The competition jury selects the winners from more than six thousand entries over four days. The jury, which consists of about two hundred and fifty wine experts, also awarded gold medals to François President Brut and Louis François & Co. Brut Nature Raw Sparkling Wine this year, recognizing the exceptional qualities of these products.
François sparkling wines are made exclusively using traditional methods, from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from the Etyek-Buda wine region, from their own production area. The secret lies in the fact that the makers are faithful to tradition, but are always open to innovation, thus guaranteeing high quality and uniqueness.
“The François sparkling wine family, founded in 1886, has been on Törley’s range since 1982, and we were the first to introduce raw sparkling wine as a category to the general public in Hungary in the early 2000s, recognizing that consumers have a demand for a truly unique taste,”
– said András Csomay, marketing manager of Törley Sparkling Winery. He added that the François brand’s sparkling wines are also inspiring from a professional perspective.
