Together with Spar, the Hungarian Charity Service of Malta supports the start of school by collecting school supplies
The Hungarian Maltese Charity Service helps the start of school by collecting school supplies.
The volunteers of the charity organization Adi Öröm! from Wednesday to Saturday, school supplies bought by customers and offered to those in need will be collected in the Interspar hypermarkets, the charity service told MTi on Wednesday.
Customers can hand over school supplies purchased in hypermarkets – pencils, pens, colored pencil sets, notebook packs, pen holders, drawing sets, school bags, gym bags and other school equipment – to the volunteers of the NGO after the checkout zone.
The collected donations are taken to the charity service’s local warehouses and offices, where school bags and school supplies are prepared.
The local employees know the families of the people living in their area, they put together the packages accordingly and deliver the school supplies to them even before the start of the school year.
Customers can also help with HUF 500, 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 HUF donation cards purchased in the Spar online shop and Interspar stores until September 1.
