OKSZ agrees with the distinction of the Hungarian ingredients and foods
The National Trade Association (OKSZ) agrees with the initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) which would clarify and standardize the voluntary certification of the origin of the Hungarian foods, and also supports the principle, that domestic produced food should be distinguished from food made in Hungary of foreign ingredients – told OKSZ to MTI on Friday.
The experience of retailers is that consumers – after examining the prices – are increasingly considering the origin of the foods and the origin of the raw materials. Therefore, OKSZ cosiders important the credibility of the new rating system, in order to give accurate information to the costumers – reports ProfitLine.hu.
