Takarékbank: EB should make clear the environmental expectations of farmers
The European Commission (EC) should clarify the environmental obligations of farmers in the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), said Takarékbank’s Executive Director responsible for Agricultural and EU Relations.
In a statement sent to MTI on Tuesday, Mezei Dávid explained that 20 percent of direct payments in the new CAP will be tied to the fulfillment of some additional environmental obligation, the so-called eco-scheme. (MTI)
