Students tackle taboo topics in the Solutions for Tomorrow program
The top 50 student teams of the Solutions for Tomorrow challenge announced by Samsung and EdisonKids have been selected. A total of 120 future-shaping and creative applications were received from many parts of the country in response to the slogan of sustainability, education of the future and the community. Those who pass can gain new skills and knowledge on the special learning platform of Solutions for Tomorrow in order to develop a novel solution to the problem they raise. This year, the Cellux Group is once again a key partner in compiling educational materials and deepening the design thinking of students. The Hősök Tere Alapítvány provides professional assistance in mentoring the teachers who support the teams.
For the fourth time now, Samsung and EdisonKids are giving young people interested in technology the opportunity to shape tomorrow according to their imagination, and they will also receive professional help for this. This year, more than 400 students from 40 Hungarian cities and 94 different schools applied for the 7th-12th grade. grade students. The application ideas and problem proposals not only demonstrate the insight, social and social sensitivity, and diversity of the students, but also prove that they actively take part in shaping the future of themselves and their environment by breaking down taboos. After the first round, the professional jury faced the challenge: they selected the 50 best teams, which have already started training for the program.
