Tesco to build flats
Tesco is giving up its expansion plans in the UK, and plans to build flats instead of supermarkets on the previously acquired lands – portfolio.hu wrote after Property Week.
Tesco plans to build 4,000 homes by 2017 in Britain, where the company has sufficient housing land to build a total of 15 thousand homes.
According to the latest annual report of Tesco, the company owns properties in value of 20.8 billion pounds (nearly 8,145 billion HUF at current rates), practically in every corner of England. (portfolio.hu)
