Nearly every Hungarian buys a gift for birthday, Christmas, and wedding, according to the joint survey of the Bónusz Brigád (Bonus Brigade) and GKI Digital, which surveyed internet users over the age of 18.
According to the survey, birthday is the most important celebration, according to respondents, more important than Christmas. On name day, gifting is mandatory according to 61 percent, the Mother’s / Father’s Day is a fairer holiday than the Women’s Day: nearly 80 percent of the respondents say they should give presents to their parents and pairs. Nearly half of the respondents give nothing for Valentine’s Day. (MTI)
