We need them: Companies and patrons for art!
For the fifth time, actors from the business and artistic worlds can show how they think about their collaborations, how innovation, value preservation and sustainable operation can occur when the two sectors meet.
The purpose of the Art is Business Award is to highlight and showcase those for-profit and cultural thinkers who are increasingly needed in the art field; furthermore, through their examples, strengthen those who are open-minded and think along the lines of values that the meeting of the two fields is of extreme importance. In recent years, among others, Mastercard, Magyar Telekom, B.Braun Hungary, KPMG, BMW Hungary, Intelligent Power Solutions, Vylyan Borbirtok és Pincészet, as well as important patrons have been honored. In 2023, the Art is Business Award will be expanded with new award categories: it specifically defines the highlighting of innovative art projects and responsible corporate managers; and from this year, several of the prize winners of the past years will strengthen the board of trustees and the judging panel. The application and nomination period for the renewed Art is Business Award closes in mid-September.
Art is Business is a value creation and preservation platform that offers an opportunity for artistic and business thinkers to meet and create collaborations. One of the most important stages of this is the Art is Business Award, which has been announced since 2019 with the intention of recognizing the outstanding companies, individuals and artists of that year.
In previous years, among others, private individuals, companies and cities have won the award, such as composer Dániel Dinyés, dancer Krisztián Gergye, flutist Eszter Horgas, patrons András Polgár, Orsolya Egri, Zsuzsa Radnóti and Andrea Rényi, B.Braun Hungary, BMW Hungary, Intelligent Power Solutions, KPMG, Magyar Telekom, Mastercard, Vylyan Winery, and Pécs and Nyíregyháza.
