SZTNH: Hungarians buy counterfeit branded clothes, perfumes and illegal software the most
Once again this year, branded clothing, perfumes and illegal computer programs are the best-selling counterfeit products in Hungary, according to a recent representative study by the National Anti-Counterfeiting Board (HENT) and Tárki Társadalomkutatási Zrt., the details of which were sent to MTI on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the National Office of Intellectual Property (SZTNH), 58 percent of Hungarians say the counterfeit product is not as good as the original, yet 15 percent of the population bought counterfeit this year, primarily (72 percent) because of the lower price. (MTI)
