From Saturday, you can drop off used mobile phones at Auchan for one month
Auchan Hungary and Auchan Korzó are also joined by the KÖVET Association, the Jane Goodall Institute, the Protection Association and the Foundation for Africa “Pass Back, Brother!!” for its mobile phone recycling campaign. A responsible, environmentally conscious approach and sustainable solutions are of strategic importance for both companies.
For years, Auchan has been taking significant steps to eliminate plastic and reduce the amount of textile waste, and Auchan Korzó has introduced community car sharing at several of its locations. With the current joint activity, I want to reduce the amount of small electronic waste accumulated by the population. From April 22 to May 22, used mobile phones that have become redundant can be dropped off in the collection boxes displayed in Auchan stores and Auchan Korzó stores.
On the occasion of Earth Day, Auchan Korzó, operated by Auchan Hungary and Nhood Services Hungary Kft., will jointly be joined by the KÖVET Association, the Jane Goodall Institute, the Védegylet Association and the Afrikártét Foundation, “Pass Back, Brother!” for its mobile phone recycling campaign.
The central element of the social responsibility strategy of both companies is sustainability. In the course of their activities, they strive to mitigate global warming in line with the EU climate goals and encourage recycling based on the principles of the circular economy.
