The Slovenian state buys up the entire amount of wheat produced in the country
“Unfortunately, the situation in the world – especially in Ukraine – is getting worse every day, and this is not only visible in prices, but also in the availability of food for the future,” said the Prime Minister.
He emphasized: on the one hand, the government wants to reduce the costs of farmers through subsidies, which have a direct impact on food prices due to high fuel prices and the increase in the price of fertilizers and seeds, and on the other hand, it wants to create an effective retail price control system.
