In Slovakia, vaccination certificates will not be required in restaurants for the time being
The second largest party in the Slovak governing coalition vetoed the much-criticized draft amendment to the Public Health Act, which would have required the presentation of a number of shops and services, including restaurants, to present a vaccination certificate or a negative coronavirus test.
In Slovakia, with a population of about five and a half million, according to the National Health Information Center (NCZI), the number of people who had already received at least one vaccine by Wednesday was 2 million 37 thousand, of whom 1 million 611 thousand had already received the second dose.
