Hungarian trading house opens in Skopje too
On 21 July the Hungarian National Trading House Zrt. (MNKH) opened its 12th trading house in the Macedonian capital, Skopje. At the opening ceremony state secretary for external economic relations and foreign affairs Péter Szijjártó stressed that the trading house was established to contribute to the economic growth of both countries. MNKH deputy CEO Gábor Kun spoke about Hungarian SMEs’ growing interest in the markets of countries in the Balkans. In 2011 Hungary signed an Economic Cooperation Agreement with Macedonia and in February 2013 the Hungarian-Macedonian Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Cooperation was set up. For Hungary Macedonia is a promising, constantly expanding market to invest in. The head of the new trading house is Saso Janakievski.
