Hungarian foie gras export has almost stopped
The Hungarian foie gras and duck liver export has almost stopped completely, due to the avian influenza.
Deliveries to the Asian-Pacific markets essentially ceased to exist, and faltering significantly in the European Union. The reason for the drastic decline is the fact that almost the entire Hungarian duck and goose stocks had to be destroyed because of the epidemic – agrarszektor.hu wrote. (agrarszektor.hu)
