Plum Days in Szarvas
The Plum Days in Szarvas will be held between September 9 and 11. The main purpose of the event is to promote the plum of the city of Szarvas and the presentation of the related traditions – the event’s organizers told MTI.
The production of plums is not only an agricultural activity in Szarvas, but also as an important intangible cultural heritage of the community. The plum production in Szarvas has already existed in the 1790s, the knowledge is inherited from generation to generation – the organizers emphasized.
