Plum Tree Adoption in the plum garden of Békési Pálinka
From today, anyone can adopt a plum tree from the the plum garden of Békési Pálinka, where one can select from 1869 pieces of red plums trees, older or younger ones. The adoptive parents themselves can dispose the crop of the tree, can make pálinka jam from the crop. The possibilities are endless. The first adoptive parent was Bognár Lajos, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Rural Development.
The famous Békési red plum harvest has started. The red plum is the raw material of the Békési Szilvapálinka (Békési Plum Pálinka). In the 27 hectares plum garden of the Békési Pálinka House, harvesting is carried out with vibrating machines and by hand, then the plum will be transported to the Békési distillery to produce pálinka from it.
