Russia responds to the extension of the sanctions with the tighter control of foodstuffs
Russia tightens the control of imported foods and banning the channels of imports, where the products affected by the entry ban can enter the country. The move can be an answer to the EU extension of sanctions against Russia proposed by foreign ministers the to EU leaders on Monday.
Stricter controls will be introduced on food products transported from third countries to Russia, to screen the relabeled products from Europe – the napi.hu wrote. It is still under discussion, whether to widen the range of products covered by the entry ban, which can affect the Hungarian agricultural producers badly as well. (agrarszektor.hu)
