The inspection of beef from Poland was tightened in the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic tightened the inspection of beef imported from Poland on Wednesday with immediate effect.
Miroslav Toman, Minister of Agriculture at an extraordinary press conference in Prague, announced that all Polish beef imported into the Czech Republic would be marketed only after Czech laboratory testing.
At the same time, the competent authorities and the Czech police are further strengthening the control of meat deliveries, restaurants and shops selling meat and meat products. (MTI, Kokes János)
