Coop to introduce stricter sustainably standards for fresh meat in the Netherlands
Coop Netherlands has committed to only purchasing fresh meat with minimum one star in the ‘Beter Leven’ quality certification within 2 years. This step is one of the retailer’s attempts to improve its sustainability standards. The transition to more sustainable products doesn’t include minced meat items.
