The opening hours of the stores will change from Wednesday

Following Orbán Viktor’s announcement on Monday that a curfew will be introduced in Hungary between 8 am and 5 am to curb the coronavirus pandemic, the opening hours of domestic stores will change significantly, thus reducing the time frame for shopping. Vámos György, Secretary General of OKSZ told Pénzcentrum about the details.

According to the announcement of the Prime Minister, a curfew will take place in Hungary from 0 am on Wednesday, according to which we can leave our homes between 8 am and 5 am only for work or in exceptional cases. Viktor Orbán also announced that all stores (including retail and service industries) should close at 7pm so that everyone could get home by 8pm. (penzcentrum.hu, Nagy Bálint)
