From Wednesday, in the case of poultry, sheep and goat meat offered from the counter, the country of origin must also be indicated, and in the case of vegetables and fruits sold in bulk, the Hungarian crops must be marked with a flag – Nagy István said at a press conference at a Budaörs store.

The Minister for Agriculture recalled that the sale of unpackaged, fresh or chilled pork must indicate the place of origin of the animal and, if different, the place of slaughter from 15 January. (MTI)
