The prospects of tourism companies improved in September – the Tourism Business Index indicates
The National Association of Tourist and Hospitality Employers (VIMOSZ) jointly with the Hungarian Tourism Association and GKI Gazdaságkutató Zrt. measures the expected development of the business cycle in tourism on a monthly basis and publishes the Tourism Business Cycle Index.
The TKI index stood at -7 points in September 2022 (interpreted on a scale between -100 and +100), which means that the players of the sector perceive their situation to be slightly bad, but improved compared to August (+6 points). Growth can be observed in all subsectors.
