Beauty day for the needy – the Women’s Day program of the Baptist Charity Service was supported by Rossmann
On the occasion of Women’s Day, a beauty day was organized for disadvantaged ladies living in the institutions of the Baptist Charity Service, mothers’ homes and homeless shelters. At the event, the guests could beautify themselves in the hands of volunteer hairdressers, beauticians and beauty consultants, for which Rossmann provided the professionals with the tools. The love service also treated all participants with gift packages offered by the drug store.
“On this day, everything was about the ladies, they all felt like real, magical women, thanks to our supporters, they received many gifts, cosmetics and flowers, and even won many valuable prizes in the raffle”
– said Réka Berczelly, PR manager of the Baptist Charity Service.
Most of the ladies are repeat guests at this event, as the Baptist Charity Service has been organizing the Women’s Day beauty day for them for years. Most of them do not have the opportunity to deal with their appearance at other times, which is why they especially look forward to this event every year, so that they can get their hair cut and enjoy being made up by professional beauticians. In the future, the love service would also like to provide them with at least one day a year when they can completely relax, beautify themselves and return home with gifts.
“As a drugstore, women and the issues that support them in all kinds of life situations are of utmost importance to us, and the continuous work of the Baptist Charity Service is outstanding in this. Their Women’s Day event is an event that fills a gap, to which we have been happy to contribute with our products for years”
– added Ágnes Anita Varga, head of marketing at Rossmann.
