Heineken toasts passionate fans
Heineken® is launching its new campaign based on the “Fresher Football” platform to coincide with the UEFA Champions League knockout stages. The aim of the campaign is to help the football community, which boasts around 3.5 billion fans worldwide, to develop into an accessible and inclusive community in which every truly passionate fan counts. The global campaign starts in the spring in our country, in which we toast from the superstitious fans to the most committed fans to those who never miss a match – whoever they are.
The brand believes that by working together, the sport can become a more positive and friendly space both on the field and in the audience, so that everyone can enjoy the excitement of the world of football. The aim of the new campaign is to show what it really means to be a passionate fan and to erase the negative image that has long defined the perception of football fans.
“Among football fans, there are those who behave inappropriately at matches, which in many cases gives the fan community a bad reputation.
– says Nabil Nasser, Global Head of Heineken® Brand.
