Sweets immune to negative trends
Growth has remained dynamic in practically all categories of sweets. The Bonbonetti Group is present in almost all of the sweets categories and has achieved annual growth of over 10 percent in the tablet chocolate and praline segments. Private labels have continued to increase their market share, but reliable brands have also achieved growth. Demand for premium products is increasing, as a sign of progress in chocolate culture. Black chocolate is also becoming increasingly popular as a result of growing health-consciousness. Interesting innovations in packaging have also been adopted. We have invested a lot of effort into strengthening our brands during the past 12 months, with creative sampling campaigns and promotions linked to gifts. A number of innovations have also been introduced in connection with ur traditional Tibi brand: two flavours in the tablet segment made with peanuts and three new products in the premium segment. The Bonbonetti umbrella brand has also been re-launched, following modernisation.
