Extensive collaboration against tobacco smuggling and counterfeiting
The National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) signed an agreement with the member companies of the Hungarian Tobacco Industry (MDSZ) and with the Philip Morris Hungary Ltd. to prevent the smuggling and the counterfeiting of tobacco products.
In order to reach this goal, an information exchange practice will be created, which will reduce the possibility of infringements to a minimum, while allowing a faster response to market changes and helps to ensure the collection of taxes – reports Világgazdaság Online.
