Székelyföld preparing to conquer Hungary
For the initiative of the County Council Harghita and Covasna Counties, a trademark has been registered to differentiate the Székely products and would give an impetus to the foreign, and Hungarian sales as well.
According to Borboly Csaba, the Chairman of the Board of Hargita County, the trademark would be useful on internal (Hargita, Kovászna and Maros county) markets, because it would draw the public’s attention to purchase ’domestic’ products.
The products of Székely producers, can acquire fans abroad. According to Borboly, Hungarian supermarkets would stock up separate shelves with the characteristics of the region – reports index.hu after Új Magyar Szó.
