One hundred and fifty million euros rescue package to the EU vegetable sector
The EU support the farmers with an emergency aid, and the Member States are also expected to help the farmers. The Russian market remains closed, and still noone knows what is causing the trouble.
The European Commission has proposed a 150 million euros rescue package to help those farmers whose stocks proved to be unmarketable because of the German outbreak of the diarrhea epidemic. More than 2,400 people became ill and 22 died because of the epidemic – reports Világgazdaság Online.
