The per tonne price of rape will be under one hundred thousand forints

The yield prospects of rape are expected to be moderate in Hungary – agrarszektor.hu wrote. In the European Union as a whole more rape may be harvested this year than last year.

According to the calculations of agrarszektor.hu, it is currently assumed that, with average yield of 2.5 tonnes, profits from rape may be around zero this year, whereas farmers have the chance to close a profitable season from wheat. (agrarszektor.hu, Gönczi Krisztina)
