Századvég: economic growth may even reach 5 percent
The Századvég Economic Research Co. has improved its growth expectations, and in favorable cases it is also not excluded that it will approach or even reach the 5 percent growth rate of the Hungarian economy this year.
In its Monday announcement, Századvég considers the 4.3 percent growth most likely this year, and for the next year the company expects 3.7 percent.
The volume index of household consumption will decrease from 5.3 percent of last year to 4.5 percent, but next year it will grow to 4.9 percent. (MTI)
