The European Parliament voted on the report on honey

The most important result of the European Parliament’s resolution adopted taking into account the views of all interested parties is the focus of attention on honey counterfeiting – Erdős Norbert, Fidesz MEP said in Brussels on Thursday, after the MEPs voted on the Hungarian Initiative, the Honey Report.

He said that the importance of the resolution adopted for the protection of bees, beekeepers and honey is not only because the European Union (EU) is competing against honey from outside the continent, including honey imported from China, but also protecting EU products against them. (MTI)
