Lidl UK’s plant-based sales are booming
In 2025 Lidl UK realised a 694% annual sales growth with its private label meat-free and plant-based dairy products, exceeding its 400% target by far.

Since the beginning of the year, the discount retailer has sold more than 1,400 tons of legumes, seeds, and grains

Lidl UK continues to expand its selection to meet the needs of flexitarians, vegans and vegetarians. The company’s goal is for plant-based proteins to account for 25% of all protein sales by 2030.
