Tesco banishes plastic bags
Tesco takes another step towards reducing the environmental footprint by offering recycled paper bags instead of plastic bags so far available for online shopping.
From now on, the supermarket chain will pack only the most essential products for home delivery in plastic bags and will normally fulfill orders without packaging. At the same time, customers can decide whether to order their goods in a paper bag. This results in nearly 60 percent less plastic waste in online shopping.
