Many large U.S. corporations have not paid taxes for years
At least 26 large U.S.-registered corporations, including FedEx, Duke Energy or Nike, have not contributed a single tax dollar to federal government revenue since 2018, according to a study reported by the New York Times.
At the same time, Biden plans to eliminate loopholes in tax breaks and full exemptions by setting a minimum tax liability for all companies.
The White House anticipates that this could bring two thousand billion dollars in extra tax revenue to the federal treasury in 15 years. (vg.hu)
