Computers, software and specialists
The 1st Hungarian Virtual Software Fair and Information Technology Exhibition welcomed visitors between 17 and 19 March. What is more, the 7,800 participants did not even have to leave their desks. They simply had to go to www.szoftverborze.hu – free of charge – to visit the stands or to buy hardware and software products – the colleagues from exhibiting companies were sitting in front of their computers and answering visitors’ questions.
Tamás Klotz, the secretary general of Information Technology Enterprises’ Association said that the event was a great opportunity for companies outside Budapest to negotiate with IT companies without having to travel. There were 29 stands and the most popular received 700 visitors. Gábor Angyal, the event’s director told that they had expected more visitors, but all in all they thought the event was a success and would organise the event again in the following year.
