IKEA opens a hotel
The New Haven office building, designed by the famous architect Marcel Breuer, has been empty for more than a decade, but not for long, as IKEA wants to make a hotel from the deserted building – origo.hu wrote.
The Swedish furniture chain, IKEA is waiting for the final approval to convert an unused office building in New Haven to a 165-room hotel.
The building consists of two parts, the upper floors are raised with huge columns above the lower floors. (origo.hu)
