Hotel association: the Hotel of the Year awards were presented
In January this year, the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ) again announced the Hotel of the Year competition in the professional partnership of the Hungarian Tourism Agency. The awards were handed out on Friday evening – the MSZÉSZ told MTI.
The association launched the competition in 2013 with the aim of presenting the outstanding hotels of the sector as role models for the industry and drawing guests’ attention to hotels offering high-quality services.
In the evaluation, the jury took into account, among other things, the innovative developments that help the operation and the market performance compared to the competitors, in addition to the quality of the hotels’ offer.

Thermal Hotel Visegrád won in the 4-star “full service” category outside the capital, while Hotel Vision Budapest won in the 4-star “limited service” category in Budapest. In the 3-star category outside the capital, Elixír Medical Wellness Hotel, Mórahalom, and in the Budapest 3-star “limited service” category, Bo18 Hotel received the award.
