Szállás.hu: domestic tourism achieved another peak in the first quarter
Thanks to the record number of long weekends, domestic tourism has reached another peak in the first quarter of this year: according to the analysis of Szallas.hu, the growth was 12.5 percent compared to the same period of 2017.
According to Szallas.hu, Budapest, Eger, Hajdúszoboszló, Szeged and Pécs received the most visitors in the first three months.
The average spending rose by 10 percent, compared to the same quarter of 2017 and was 35,382 HUF. Among the tourist attractions, the Castle of Eger was the most popular. (MTI)
