Event where suppliers and retailers get to meet
ECRM hosts category specific events that feature one-on-one, pre-scheduled meetings between retailers and suppliers. The company is hosting the Central Eastern European Supplier Review, which will enable retailers to meet new suppliers from all over Eastern Europe in the Health and Beauty Care, Food, and Home & Kitchen categories. The event will take place June 13-15, 2011 at the Corinthia Towers Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.
This event will provide retailers with the opportunity to view a variety of products in a few days and in one location, saving time and reducing or even eliminating office appointments. Many retail attendees have said ECRM’s process allows them to save 50% of the time it would have taken otherwise. Suppliers have the ability to expand their distribution and meet with retailers they may not have been able to secure a meeting with otherwise.
All attendees receive scheduled appointments. Meetings are held in the supplier’s display room, allowing retailers to see various products the supplier offers. In addition, ECRM provides software called MarketGate to all attendees that allows both parties to take notes. Retailers can scan items of interest and the data is saved into the software.
Expenses for retailers attending the event are covered by ECRM. (This includes airfare, ground transportation, meals and hotel accommodations.) Suppliers can contact ECRM for cost information.
ECRM has hosted over 800 events since 1994 in the US and nationwide. Several of the nation’s leading retailers attend these events.
