Expert: the employment of the 20-64 age group surpasses the EU target
In Hungary, the average employment rate for the 20-64 age group is 75.5 percent, above the 75 percent target set by the European Union for 2020 – Csath Magdolna economist told M1 news channel on Sunday, analyzing the latest data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
However, the expert pointed out that there are still reserves in the domestic labor market. She highlighted people under 20 who are no longer studying- She said that employment in this age group is still low compared to the average Hungarian indicator, although the data is not bad, compared to the EU average.
