Food prices are increasing in Ukraine significantly
Experts from the statistical office said that among foodstuffs, sugar and butter became more expensive the most on an annual basis, ie compared to July 2020, the former by 83.5 percent and the latter by 79 percent. In addition, the price of eggs rose by 33 percent, that of bread by 16 percent, that of meat by 11.1 percent and that of dry pasta by 9.3 percent. Vegetables and fruits, on the other hand, became cheaper, with the former falling 2.7 percent and the latter 12.2 percent. (MTI)
